Our Iceberg is Melting (Book Review)

Finally got myself a copy of this book. Read another book by John Kotter last year and loved it and was looking forward for this one. Technically the book is a Business book, but the story is fictional, therefore it qualifies for this site. Our Iceberg is Melting (Changing and Succeeding Under Any Conditions) by John Kotter and Holger Rathgeber is a lesson on championing change in an organisation, told through a story of a group of remarkable penguins. Yes, penguins.

Change is not a one-person job (or in this case, a one-penguin job). The book illustrates the roles different members play in an organisation, you can’t help but to relate the penguin characters to actual people from your work. An alternative walkthrough of the change process with a dose of comedy. Completed the read in less than two weeks. A page turner.
